Oris Williams F1 Team Day Date Watch For 2010
Continuing their partnership with the Williams F1 team, Oris has released a new motor sport watch for 2010 that is likely the nicest yet when it comes to a watch made for Williams. This is at least the fourth watch to come from the partnership, and it looks really nice in mostly black with a technical looking blue trim. Oris is further refining the dial design, offering a fascinating, yet polished look. The case itself is 44mm wide in DLC black. Notice the thin blue line that extends around the periphery of the side of the case. It is a neat little detail helping the case of the watch to stand out. The colors are also of course those of the Williams team. The little blue line is actually rubber, and Oris says it acts like a bumper to protect the case (a bit). Best performing Nautilus by 2022?
I know some will say that watches are not investments and appreciating them is not a monetary concern- and they would all be very right.....Nonetheless, of the in-production Nautilus range which one will see the greatest percentage money appreciation from current price today and 5 years time. (ps. by current price I don't mean retail, I mean the price you'd have to pay to get one today- the chrono24 price if you will, e.g. ?30,000 GBP for a steel 5711 blue NOT ?18,030) If you consider everything:-1. waiting lists for new ones2. big/small watches gaining/losing appeal3. gold and rose gold gaining/losing appeal4. chance of any of them being discontinued 5. estimated production numbers per year per model6. (and others)I own a blue 5711/a but my own winner would be the 5712 in steel for the following reasons:-1. when it comes to nautiluses and sports watches generally steel always outperforms gold.2. its been in production for as long as any other watch in the current range and may well ge
Is now the time to sell a 5711-blue dial?
I see the crazy prices on these. One dealer wants 47K. I am thinking now may be the time to sell. Not lose money. A first for me. Any thoughts.
New Hodinkee Video with Vintage Panerai
I posted this in the vintage Rolex section but was just reminded I should post in here too. In the collection is a rare and beautiful vintage Panerai shown with its Rolex movement. Enjoy
