Help me see the AP light
I've been away from these forum's for awhile , and only just started getting back into them. This week I picked up patek a/c and sub c lv.I just come back from long holiday where I just took my g shock and when came back I wasnt feeling the AP magic anymore. At moment I have the 15400ST and Bumble Bee .I'm thinking the sub lv takes care of my colourful fetish so do I need the bee anymore as well i not looking at growing my watch collection size wise. Also although not that old I find myself prefering watches witch are no bigger then the 40mm mark and not happy with 41mm size of the 15400 anymore . Apart from the my AP's I only have Pam 233 bigger then 40mm now.I very close to selling off both my AP's and think the only watch that may keep with an AP now is 15202 jumbo. You comments are welcome.thanks
5711 as a full-time, all-day, everyday wearer?
Good day everyone,I've been struggling lately about a decision between a 5711 and a DD40 YG silver/roman.Truth is I prefer the 5711 but it's important to me to be able to wear a watch all-day, everyday, all the time. The DD40 is probably more durable etc (although the WR of the 5711 is 120m v. the DD40 is 100m).I'm a one-watch guy (except I wear a BR 03-92 on strap mostly in the winter).I wear a TT ceramic sub at the moment (which i'm going to trade). I sleep with it, shower with it, splash around at the beach, take it in the pool, wear it to yoga, etc. I wouldn't obviously re-pave the driveway wearing my sub (or any watch). What do you all think? Would I be expecting too much from the 5711? Is it too fragile? Am I putting the 5711 in too much danger of needing service (which I understand could take upwards of a year)? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.Mike
Patek Chronograph Owners. Pls come in.
Thinking of getting a Natilus Chronograph 5980 but would prefer that the second hand moves continuously. Not sure if that will damage the watch mechanism. Any idea?Just a quick check for the usage of the chronograph function with the following poll:

Grey Market Sub Prices
Been away from the Rolex General Discussion section of the forum for while so sorry if this has been covered already. What is going on with the grey market prices on all Sub models? $500 over MSRP for a no date 114060 from the Trusted Sellers here??? I was interested in trading my Explorer I for the 114060 but for $8K, no thanks.
