Click below for audio excerpts from Disher’s one-on-one interview with the man behind the watch, Arnold & Son’s head of movement development, Sbastien Chaulmontet. In the interview, Chaulmontet discusses the technical challenges he faced while designing the UTTE, including the need to develop entirely new tools to create the tourbillon movement; and the steps he made to make the movement durable despite its remarkable thinness.

First Patek Philippe!
Hello all,1 weeks ago, I was going to buy the Day Date 40 then I saw this baby in AD. Just decided to pay extra to get my first Patek.I'm between 5712R or 5711/1R-001. Cannot decide which one I'm going to get. Please let me know what you thinkHere is my current collection.Would appreciate thoughts/advice. Merry Christmas to all.
Back to Panerai- Incoming!
I've been without a Panerai for about a year and half now, so I thought it's about time for me to make my way back. I've always wanted to give the PAM 372 a try ever since I was bit by the PAM bug, but I was always hesitant about the size and other watches got in the way. I finally pulled the trigger yesterday and less than 24 hours later she is here! First impressions- I'm used to wearing 40mm Rolexes, so the size will take some getting used to. Luckily, I have 7 1/4 inch wrists and it seems to fit well on it. It's also super comfy for its size. This isn't the first time I've seen a PAM 372, but it's my first time handling it outside an AD and it sure gets better looking the longer you wear it. It's a real stunner in person. It's only been here for a few hours and I already have some Gunny and Bosphorus straps on the way
