Belated Incoming....And I got it Tuesday
I honesty had NO intention on buying a watch but this presented itself and I showed no willpower. I got a SS bracelet and a Snoopy strap as well so this watch will have four different looks (actually 3 for me I dislike Natos). Absolutely thrilled with it!!!! Hello guys I'm getting ready to get a new piece, I'm between the Patek 5980 in SS with blue dial or the Sky Dweller in white gold with bracelet and black dial. Please let me know what your thoughts are on both watches. The 5980 is pre-owned in perfect condition and the Sky-Dweller is brand new. The price of both watches are very close to each other. I just want to get some opinion from TRF before I make my decision. Thank you guys!!!

BLNR - Waiting list - did I just get lucky?
So I went to my local AD a month ago to add me to the BLNR list and they estimated a 6 month waiting time. Being impatient and all, contacted another 2 AD dealers fairly local and added me to their lists too, this was Friday afternoon.So I was somewhat surprised to get the call Saturday morning from one of the dealers I contacted only the day before to say one had become available and I was next on the list!?Just thinking could they have mistakenly added me to the top of the list, either way I kept my mouth shut and went along to pick my new piece. Happy days! Was not expecting this anytime soon as the other dealer I contacted said 12 months to 2 years... (Apologise for the image orientation, I rotated the image and still seems to come out wrong so gave up!)
