Vintage 1955 Navitimer wristshots!
Here's some wristshots with my recently delivered vintage 1955 Navitimer, loving it, enjoy!
Extract of the Archives...and a speedy MKII
I picked up a MKII a few weeks back, it was in great shape and I got it for an even better price. Service history was unknown, but seller agreed that if it wasn't authentic I could return it for a full refund. Long story short, I sent it off to Nesbit's for a full service and authentication. Good news it was all Omega.I also wanted to pick up an extract on it from Omega and was ready to have a friend from Germany get it for me since the Omege site says they don't ship them to the US. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they will ship stateside, but only to a residential address. If you are interested in an extract you just need to e-mail their customer service. Added bonus, they are great to work with! So now I'm curious to see if this mkII is an original racing dial or a redial. I'll get some more photos up after I get her back from Nesbit's, and let you all know the outcome of the extract once I get it in.Obligatory wrist shot
Typical Speedy Pro Noob
I wake up today and realized that I forgot to wind my Speedy Pro. This is something I need to turn into a habit, being so use to automatic.Im sure I'm not the only one, but it did make me chuckle a bit.
need help identifying watch
Hi This is my grandfather's Omega watch. He's had it for some decades now and I would like to know what model it is and around when it was produced. Thanks for the help!
Passed on SD43 and not regretting it!
My AD camled this morning and said he has a SD43 if I'm interested! It took me a second to consider it then told him to give me till Monday to think about it. Honestly I think I will turn it down as I have a subC which I love and I think someone else who has been really wanting this watch will enjoy it more than meAm I crazy in my thinking?
