Dumb question from AP newbie
Hello guys, I just started exploring the world of AP and I was wandering if you could tell me what was the difference in between the RO 15300, the 15400 and the 15202, which one is the most expensive, which one is the least, and more or less the range?
AP 26320ST Questions (New to AP)
Hey guys,Decided to venture away from the Rolex General Discussion and ask some questions here about the AP 26320ST Royal Oak Chronograph in steel. Not too familiar with AP having never owned one. I'm about to pull the trigger on a 116515LN (Ceramic Rose Gold Daytona on strap) as it is the one watch that really, really sings to me. I love everything about that watch except for one thing, the fact that it can't come with OEM rubber straps by Rolex akin to how AP offers so many different strap options. I know the ROOs typically come on a strap, whereas the ROCs come on bracelets. The price of a SS ROC is almost the same as the 116515 (just a bit less). I still by a wide margin prefer the Daytona to the ROC, but I am just doing my due diligence and making sure that this is the best purchase for me.My question is about putting an OEM AP rubber strap on the SS ROC. Is that possible/easy to do? Or will AP's rubber straps not fit on the SS ROC? I don't think that won't sway the tide much towa
Had a chance to handle PO next to rolex....
I have owned a couple omegas in the past . 300m sea masters.I have been digging the PO 45.5mm 8500 for a while now. I stopped in an AD I was walking past to check out an exp 2 and noticed they now carried omega. They never used to. It's the first time I have been able to handle those brands side by side. I like bigger watches (I'm 6-3, 8 flat wrists, work out etc) so for me IMO anything smaller than 43mm usually starts to look to small. For me right now, the PO on bracelet with 3 orange markers is perfection. It will be my next watch.
Spring Bar and Bracelet Questions
For vintage Rolex, does having an authentic Rolex Spring Bar matter in terms of valuation and originality of the piece? For bracelets there are clasp codes and serial numbers attributing to the year and this should match the serial number of the watch case to be original overall. How about spring bars? Or do generic spring bars do the trick and spring bars do not really matter in terms of valuation
