Anyone has any take on this issue?
Sad sad day...Diver took a dive...
My steel diver landed on the crown screw today and now the metal part of the crown screw (with the AP logo) is slightly deformed on one side...can't believe how soft the steel is...Has anyone replaced the crown screw before? If so, can you let me know roughly how much it would be to replace it? Also, should I replace it right away (my watch is less than 1 year old) or should I just bear with it and wait till the rubber crown screw age a bit before replacing? It seriously ruined my mood for the entire day...
DaytonaC or Aquanaut?
It's a wedding anniversary gift. I love both but I can only choose one. Which one has more soul?
Out of The Stickers And Into The Wild
For those of you who may have seen my premature Incoming thread (premature in that I was not ready to unsticker/wear) of a couple of days ago, I have finally submitted; I have unstickered, sized, and began wearing, my new Sub ND.I love this thing!Yes, the Pelagos will be going away (the idea to pick up the blue Pelagos was too good...I can't resist) and the Sub now becomes the daily watch for me.Early impressions:1. The lower profile of the Sub is very welcome; the Pelagos stands taller than I realized.2. The relative heft of the sub strikes me; the titanium of the Pelagos makes it seem lighter than maybe it should be. The Sub has more feel on my wrist.3. The cleaner/finer Mercedes hands are a better look to my eyes.4. The Pelagos lume is going to be missed; I wish the Sub had lume on the bezel!5. Most important for last: my wife likes the Rolex better. It's a great week!
