Rolex guys opinion on Breitling Navitimer.
Hi Guys,I know there's a Breitling section on the forum but since I want to hear the Rolex guys opinion I think this is the right section for this thread.I'm not a fan of Breitling in general but I do like the Navitimer 01, I know Breitlings resale is bad and that they can be had with good discounts,A good friend that works at an AD is offering me 3 different Breitlings models at 50% off retail,actually about 45% because it's a 50% of the price of the head plus the strap I choose at retail, and one of the models is the Navitimer 01.What do you guys think is a 50% off a brand new Navitimer a good deal?, the model they have on sale is the 43mm the 46 is not on sale.How's the quality of the Breitlings deployment buckle ?I have both options , deployment or tang on both calf and Croc, the calf with tang being the cheapest.TIA.

Thanks.I am looking at getting my collection of Rolex down from 6 to 2 or 3, and then entering the rarified world of AP and PP. I'm liking the 15400 and the ROC, and also the PP 5167 and 5164.It may be my imagination, but I seem to read an awful lot about AP having serious problems of reliability. We don't appear to see the same thing over on the PP forum.Any comments from you knowledgable Gentlemen?

Advice on Adding a Chrono
I'm looking to add a chrono and would like some advice from the experts.The Black Bay Chrono recently caught my eye. I like the way it looks, and I am very intrigued by the movement and high water resistance. It doesn't seem to get much love though. I've read that a few people don't like the hands but that doesn't bother me. I like the idea of adding a Tudor too.Also looking at the Heuer Autavia. Again, I like the looks and movement but this seems to be even less regarded than the BB. A speedy is also an option and likely the FIOS over the moonwatch. I don't really care for the Daytonas or the El Primeros. Anything else I should be looking at?A little more info. Looking for something that works nicely with a strap, and 42 mm would be the biggest I want to go. My daily wearer is a PO 2201.50 so this would be in rotation with that one. Thanks!

Greetings all from chilly Toronto! I'm a new member here but owned a 116710LN for 7 years before parting with it. After a couple year hiatus I've re-ignited my passion for Rolex. A Sunday trip to my nearest AD (suburban Toronto ) to ask about getting my wife's engagement ring reset led to a discussion about Rolex and my new AD friend asking to me to wait here for a minute...I have something to show you. I'm on day 3 with it and am really appreciating the familiar feeling of my departed GMT but with a totally fresh color scheme.I never joined (or frankly knew of) TRF when I was a first time owner. Glad to have found this community now!
