A less formal look for the Speedy
For a while now I've been looking for a nice alternative to the 7912 bracelet, for a less formal look, as well as greater security on the wrist. This led me down the road of Nato's, but while I did like it on a Timefactors (20mm) black nato, I felt it needed something just a little more 'natural'. So, down the leather nato road, but all the ones I inquired about were too thick, so the watch head stood a little too high for my liking.Enter Janko straps, beautifully made, thinner leather, and the option of a wonderful vintage / distressed look. I like it so much that all my other watches are getting zero wrist time right now, the old 105.003 being my new daily wearer.I thoroughly recommend Jan if you're a bit stuck for something appropriate for your treasured Omega, or anything for that matter.
PP 5711r or PP 5164r
Wanted to throw this one out... Both are on my short list...Which would you rather have?...In my collection I do have a steel 5711 blue dial, would it be too redundant to have another? I've even considered upgrading the steel 5711 to gold while prices are crazy. Would hate to have regrets on that as the light weight of the 5711 makes it one of my most comfortable watches. Thanks,Pete
Incoming!!! First Patek
I recently decided to hold-off on an AP Royal Oak GMT, and - well, long story short - there is a 5153G Calatrava in overnight mail headed my way. I honestly can't wait, is there anything to help the anticipation?!I absolutely love the simplicity and elegance of this watch. I'm not sure I've been this excited for a watch to arrive before.
any 439 owners?
am curious to know experiences with this 42mm rose gold radiomir.as well as live wrist shots.
What would you add next to these two?
I have my eye on the polar explorer 2 or a submariner date. Outside of Rolex I like the Tudor North Flag and Breitling Superocean Heritage White dial with mesh bracelet. What would you do, feel free to make any suggestions.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
