4 New Longines Conquest Heritage Watches Celebrate the Model’s 60th Anniversary
Longines registered the name “Conquest” with the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office in May 1954. At Baselworld 2014, the Swiss brand released a new collection of limited-edition, commemorative watches to honor the 60th anniversary of the patent filing, the new Longines Conquest Heritage 1954-2014.The Longines Conquest Heritage collection consists of four timepieces, one in a stainless steel case and three others in gold cases, each bearing the same dial design as the original Conquest from 1954 and with a modest (some would say downright retro) case dimensions of 35 mm in diameter. Also echoing the originals, the new Conquest watches have casebacks decorated with the “gold seal of Longines quality,” a gold-and-enamel medallion. The first Longines Conquest watch with the original patent documentIn another nod to their historical predecessors, the Longines Conquest Heritage 1954-2014 watches all have “Conquest” inscribed on the dials in the same
Saw a very nice AP ROO today...can't identify...help!
Hey guys, I saw someone wearing a full black (probably ceramic) royal oak offshore today with a leather band. The dial was black too but one or two of the sub dial was gold or was outlined in gold. It looked really amazing but I can't seem to find it online. Does it ring a bell for anyone here? Thanks!
441 or 505?
I currently have a Pam 311 and looking for another watch but can't decide between Pam 441 and Pam 505. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thx.
UK PM Discount Question.
HiQuestion for the UK members.Has anyone pulled the trigger recently on a PM piece from an AD?Only reason I ask is, I have been toying with the idea for a while now of trading a few pieces and stepping up into the big boy league with a nice PM piece. The option's are a YG Blue Submariner or RG Olive Green DD.Both stunning pieces and both very different watches so it's a tough choice.I'm comfortable with the Sub as I already have the Blue TT version (and is one of the watches I'd be using to make the trade) but the DD I'm still 50/50 on as I've never had a dress watch before only sports divers.Anyway, the real question is have any UK members bought either of those two pieces recently from an AD and if so what, if any, sort of discount did you manage to negotiate? Thanks in advance.Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Selling your first watch do or don't?
Hi all,I'm new on the forum. I own a submariner no date, bought it new on my 18th. Now looking for something else, like the new daytona (paying the jackpot) of the new sky dweller in steel. But what to do with my old watch? Sell it and regret later or save more money and buy the new watch as an extra watch. Please give me some adviceThanks all !
