AT 38.5mm pic request
Hi guys.I was just wondering if any of you have wrist shots of a 8500 AT midsize on anything close to a 7.25 inch wrist.I'm about a hairs breadth away from taking the plunge but, since I live in a remote location miles from an AD, I'm considering my first ever Internet watch purchase. I've seen and handled the 42mm in the steel and liked the finish but not the size/proportions so it would be great to see a 38.5mm on a similarly sized wrist to mine. Here's a pic of my sub to give you some sense of the scale of it on my wrist...
Third time is a charm
Just got a new PP 3 days ago. DavidSW was kind enough to get me the new one I wanted in a few weeks. I like it more than the world time or 5711, both awesome watches, which lasted only days. The moon phase is useful as it helps with the Islamic calendar months which are lunar too. Enjoying this and thanks for all the good reading and others opinions. Regards. My new Patek Philippe split seconds chronograph!
That's right, boys and girls. I've got timepieces from Patek that allows for split seconds chronograph functionality - the ability to time two events simultaneously. No, it's not the 5004 or the 5204. I cannot afford either of those pieces. So, instead, I present my innovative split seconds chronograph - dual face watch, yellow gold and platinum, both with silver dials. For the first event I click the top pusher on the platinum, and for the second event I click the top pusher on the yellow gold. Voila!
Report from the field
Was at Shreve in SF today. Lots of PM (including WG Pepsi) but only SS sport models they have in stock are a white dialed Milgauss, white Explorer II, and black Explorer. Not taking any more orders on BLNR or LN. 30 deep wait-list on SS Pepsi, and they expect to get one or two this year. Also should note that they were very friendly with zero attitude which is always appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
