UTS GMT 1000M Watch
There are a lot of boutique dive watches available right now, many sporting the same cases, dials and movements. Smaller companies can't afford the cost of a custom design, so after a while many look the same. DIVER Crown coming unscrewed
Has anyone else experienced their Divers crown backing off and becoming unscrewed? Not sure if it's the rubber casing or what, but after several hours of wear I look down and the crown has backed off, leaving the crown tube exposed to the elements.

Question to AP RO chrono 41mm owners
I was very curios when i tried two chronographs yesterday a VC overseas chrono and a AP RO chrono 41mm in SS. I was told that the overseas chrono bracelet was changeable to a leather or rubber strap, whereas i was also told by an AP dealer that a RO chrono's bracelet is not changeable into a strap such as the messi limited edition.

Incoming 5167
Gents,Just wanted to share my new 5167. My first patek. I purchased the bracelet model but also picked up the strap / buckle. The bonus of a seven percent price decline! My AD coaxed me to get the bracelet model as that is more readily available from the mothership. Since I like bracelets, that worked for me. Also meant wouldn't have to duke it out with other customers that wanted the strap version. I'm very pleased. Surprised it doesn't hack, but I'm not a timing nut so don't really care. But for this price, I'd kind of expect it. The dial is beautiful and the winding impeccable. My prior smoothest winder was an iwc 5007, I think this one tops that. Took it to patek boutique and they managed to size it and only scratch up the links a little. What a bust, does anyway take care anymore.Re the bracelet. I'd have to says its beautiful, super comfortable. I hope it's not too delicate as it kind of feels that way. I've also had the fine VC overseas bracelet, I think that one

Browsing at a non AD
This weekend we were at a mall in Broward County. The mall has several jewelers and most are non AD. We were browsing and one young salesman saw my brother in law and i were both wearing SS Rolexes. He says they have some preowned Rolex. Would we like to see them.? Of course we would! While looking at his small stock, he looks at my brother in laws kermit and says, that's the joker. i said are you talking about his watch? He says yes. Lol...i said um, no thats called a kermit.If you were thinking of the all green model, it is called the hulk. I then mentioned i was not opposed to purchasing a preowned watch as my first Rolex was a preowned serti sub with the diamonds and sapphires on the dial. While he was talking about looking to find a sub for $2500 to $3000 for himself, i found a picture of my serti sub. I show it to him and he says, that's a yachtmaster right? I was like, um no. ...the yachtmaster has either a gold or platinum bezel depending on the model such as stainless
