Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio (Updated with Live Photos & Price)
Panerai launches its new timepieces for 2016 at the SIHH watch salon in Geneva this week. Loyal Paneristi will note that one of them, the new Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio, is the first in that collection to feature a white dial a rarity in the Panerai portfolio overall. The watch which comes in the familiar Radiomir 1940 cushion-shaped case, measuring 42 mm in diameter and made of polished 316L stainless steel strives for clarity in its dial, with large, black Arabic numerals at the hour markers and small seconds set aside on a subdial at 9 o’clock. Dots at each hour position (two at 12 o’clock), treated with luminous paint, aid in nighttime legibility. The case, whose proportions and shape are faithful to those of the original 1940 model for which the watch is named, is only 10.93 mm thick and has a polished. stainless steel winding crown bearing a relief “OP” (for “Officine Panerai”) logo. The Panerai Radiomir 1940 3 Days Auto

Omega Chrono Repair Costs?
I am still trying to proceed with the resurection of my Mark II. Out of curiosity I contacted Omega for a service estimate and was directed to a web site regarding what they do and the cost. What they do:.omegawatches/customer...enance-serviceThe costs schedule: .sguscustomerservice/I was pretty much amazed by the cost of maintaining older watches. Currently I'm getting ready to ship the watch over to MY for full service. I was also wondering how other insured their watches when shipped to my for servicing and conditioning. Any input would be useful. Thanks!!!
Why I think the 116619LB "Smurf" is the best Watch in the World
So it's time for a little controversy. I decided to open this topic to share with you some reasons that lead me to find the Smurf the best watch in the world.First, in my view, the submariner is Rolex's biggest classic. I know, I know, many will say it's the Daytona or the Day-Date or this or that. But in my opinion it's the Submariner, the watch used by James Bond. Also, in my experience, every time I mention the Rolex name in some casual conversation to someone not into watches is the image of the Submariner that comes to mind. So, for the simple fact that, in my opinion, being the Submariner the classic Rolex watch, this makes it the most iconic watch in the world, or at least quite high at the top. It is the archetype of the watches. It can be used for all activities, from the deepest dives to the black tie dinners. Just look at this ad:So where does smurf come in at all?In my opinion, the Smurf is the submariner for the WIS. The fact that it is in white gold and the blue dial and b
