We often get emails asking us for watch recommendations on a budget. When someone asks us to point them in the direction of a good automatic under $300 or a nice dress auto under $500, Orient is always on the top of the list. We've reviewed them many times now and the conclusions are always the same, great watch for the money. But, honestly, that downplays them a bit. One of the most interesting complicated watches to come out of SIHH 2014 is without a doubt the Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar Terraluna from A. Lange & Söhne. It uses a regulator-style dial layout with the addition of a perpetual calendar, a 14-day power reserve, a constant force escapement, and a graphic orbital moonphase complication right on the plate of the movement. eBay Seamaster buy - Authentic?
Hi All, I bought this Seamaster: cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:AAQ:US:1123 on eBay and was wondering if it was a decent deal.I tried to do diligent research, noting dates of the call 500, two-tone silver dial (at one time), hands, case, and band. To me, being a vintage Omega newb, it appears to be a transitional piece, with some late 50's and early 60's appointments.It looked like a good deal, and because it was listed as being from 1960, my birth year, I clicked on buy it now.I have a three day acceptance period once I receive it, so I'm asking y'all if made a decent buy, or a so-so one.Tim

I am considering purchasing a PP 5153g and would be interested in hearing from anyone who owns this watch. I currently wear a PP 5196r and love its elegance, but there is something about the face of the 5153g that I love as well. Cheers
