AP 15305OR for a dress watch?
Hey guysI have been up and down the PP lineup for a sporty dress watch and nothing (under 100K) is really moving me.Not really into ALS or FPJ or other high end watches that have TRF love.I looked and really like AP, PP and Rolex. I think it is because I like a more sporty looking dress watch. Then I started looking at the AP RG Skelton on a strap.Wow, this is something, sporty and dressy?Man I love this design!! The pics posted here on trf of this watch are VERY enabling!!Many of my sports watches I have been able to dress up, but non of them are on a strap.Do you think this could work as a sporty dress watch? My wrists are small, so the 15407 is out, but love it too, just too big.15305OR is 39mm so it will work just fine.Like Benlee, I would love to eventually find out how to get a full gold bracelet to go along with it. 50_IMG_7533.jpg
Watch shopping on vacation
So it got a little hot and decided to see if I could oil the wheels of the economy a bit.. while looking for something for my wife, I came across THE Ti.. I was very pleased to feel how soft the strap was compared to my RG 44. Here are some pics The Patek guy was trying hard to sell me this one..
New Addition, and new shoes
Hello Everyone! It has been a while since I last posted on this forum, but recently I found a good reason to do so: I bought another Royal Oak from DavidSW. This time it was an Offshore, Navy. What can I say, an AMAZING transaction as always, and a spectacular piece! And, having APSC so close to where I live, it just made it so much easier for me to almost immediately get new shoes for my new ROO. BTW, Ms, Lindsay Peterson (After Sales) and Kevin (Watchmaker), at APSC, were incredibly welcoming / friendly / professional. They helped me with the parts department in sourcing the the navy blue hornback strap. It is always a treat to stop by their offices! As much as like the rubber strap, the blue hornback looks just at home on my RO; at least to me. Below, please find some pics. I really like this combo. Thanks!
Planet Ocean 2500
I tried a Planet Ocean 2500 at a Omega boutique store, and I nearly took this one home today. Cooler heads prevailed, as I need to make sure it's what I really want. The model I tried was the non orange model with a waterproof leather strap. It was also the 41.5 mm model, which did fit me very well. The only thing stopping me from the newer 8500 model is the price and the thicker size... For those of you with a P0 2500, please post photos and contribute your thoughts to the this enabling threat, as I might head back to the Omega boutique store this week....
Incoming SD4K
I have a White Gold Daytona and a White Gold GMT Pepsi. I recently bought a SD43 but felt it didn’t fit into my current collection being much bigger. I have today ordered an August 2016 complete set SD4K described as 9.9/10 condition. All being well it will be with me on Thursday and will complete my Land, Air & Sea Rolex 40mm Trifecta.
