SIHH 2015: Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum (Updated with Live Photos and Prices)
Montblanc has launched a number of new travel-oriented watches at SIHH 2015 in Geneva. One of them, the Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is a new take on the world timer, showing the hour in 24 time zones at once.The Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum uses an intuitive and visual method to represent world time. The center-mounted hour and minutes hands provide the local time. A rotating 24-hour ring encircles the dial; the small red arrow at 6 o’clock points to the local hour on the ring.The most prominent aspect of the watch, though, is at the center of the display. A sapphire crystal layer within the dial shows the Northern Hemisphere as seen from the North Pole. The continents are cut out, while the surrounding oceans are in blue. As day turns into night, the lower layer of the dial shifts, so that the continents that had been white turn black, and vice versa. AP collector in Dubai?
I would want to know if someone with a serious AP collection in Dubai would like to meet up. I will be travelling to that part of the world for holidays soon and would like to meet up with someone who is an avid collector with an avant garde AP line up. Please help me choose my very first AP.....
Hello AP lovers here. Please help me pick my very first AP. I have narrowed it down into the two as below.- black dial: ROO Chronograph Themes H series.- White dial: ROO Navy Themes I series.I have Daytona white in steel, Two tone DJ, and Omega Planet ocean Ceramic 42 (black bezel with orange letter). I'm usually in casual and rarely dress up. I'm torn dead half and half- I like classic sports look of the black dial whereas I don't mind having little flashiness of the Navy(to me)I understand I is newer than H series. My research has founded that ROO Navy is arguably the least popular ROO series which is hard to believe. Any advise/tip would be appreciated.Thanks and looking forward to your input.

Grinding noise when I wind my SM300
I just purchased a 1969 SM300 that was supposedly recently serviced. I notice friction when winding the watch and hear a light scrapping sound while winding. I have more modern Omegas and never noticed this issue. None of my automatic vintage watches have the same drag effect when winding them.I would appreciate your thoughts...James
