Ebel Classic Hexagon 41mm
Ebel is introducing a new, smaller version of the Classic Hexagon that measures 41mm in diameter, compared with 45.5mm for the original version. The new model is not specifically tagged as a ladies model, but the press materials say “Although originally dedicated to men, the new Classic Hexagon watches are just as happy to wrap themselves around a feminine wrist.” Like the original Hexagon, the smaller models feature a one-piece “monohull” case that is shaped to fit the wrist. The watch is a simple three-hand design with center seconds and a large date at 3 o’clock. Black and white dials are available. The movement is an automatic ETA 2896. Previously released and out of production models
Does anyone knows of a website that list and catalogs with pictures and details of AP's ( and for that matter any brands ) previously released and out of production models? I know AP website only show their current models but these older watches often pop up in pre-own market.
Which watch would a guy want?
I am not very familiar with Breitling, but my significant other is a watch nut. Since this is our first Valentines' day I was thinking of buying him one. Any suggestions as to THE ONE you would really like to receive from your lady?
Does the value of your watch impact how you wear it?
Simple question: does the current market value of your watch impact how you wear it?I'm no stranger to expensive watches and generally don't fret about how I wear my watches relative their cost. Most would cringe to see what I wear when fishing, boating, motorcycling, hunting, golfing, etc. However the recent (insane) valuation of steel Pateks has begun to influence how I wear them. I've found myself worrying about scratches and dings on my steel Pateks whereas it was never a consideration before. I have no such hangups with my PM watches - only steel. Brand has little bearing on it. Maybe I'm just not meant to own steel? Thoughts?
Patek warranty transferable?
If you buy a Patek from a trusted seller and the watch is still within the warranty period, is that warranty transferable to a new owner? I.e. is there any penalty for not having your name on the warranty card?
