Where have I been?
Several have noticed my absence from the forum and asked where I have been.Well, I have been around albeit rather infrequently. A year or so ago, we bought a home with our oldest daughter which has turned into a major renovation project that my wife calls the money pit.We are still living in a construction zone but the move has allowed me to return to my original hobby, ham radio. Financing the acquisition of the equipment necessary to get back on the air has required the liquidation of most of my watch collection. I once said that my 300 Master Coaxial could easily be my one and only and that has almost become a reality. it and my Speamaster are my last two Omegas and the Speamaster is about to go on the block.For those hams in the group, as soon as my antennae go up with warmer weather, look for me on the HF bands. In the meantime, try connecting to K4YK on D-star.But of course, I'll be at the Spring ATL GTG on the last Saturday in April.

Incoming - my first Crown
Good morning all from Bombay, just landed from a nice long flight from London and first thing I did after eating was open the box of my brand new BLNR!!! After many many many years of waiting and waiting I finally decided to treat myself for my 30th birthday this year.Apologies if the stickers are still on! It’s 3am here and I’m tired so tomorrow will be spent trying to remove them all and resizing the bracelet. I’ve learnt so much from all the members here on TRF and I couldn’t wait to share my incoming with you all. And fwiw, anyone who thinks this watch looks ace in pictures, it looks ten times better in the flesh. Absolute stunner. The Annual Rolex Calendar
I'm relatively new to the forum and definitely new to Rolex (proud owner of a Hulk). I've become rather intrigued to understand what is on the horizon from the company. From what I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong), any new models are annually revealed to the world at Baselworld. Does Rolex offer pre-Baselworld announcements of new models or are they completely hush-hush until the BW conference? For example, how long before last year's event did people know about the SS SkyDweller or the DaytonaC the year before? Are there years where there are no changes at all?Thanks.
