AP 15202ST Dial Question
Hi, All. I recently purchased my first AP from from a forum member, a Royal Oak 15202ST (39mm jumbo). It arrived today, so I spent some time examining it. Owning Rolex, I've become accustomed to looking at perfect dials. Today while admiring the tapisserie dial, I felt that something was off. So, I picked up a 10x triplet and got a better look. This is what I saw. Notice the alignment of the Audemars Piguet text.It looks like the Audemars Piguet text is crooked. You can see the recessed area for the printing isn't square with the tapisserie.I've got a few questions. Is this fairly obvious imperfection something I should expect? Is this typical of AP?Should I be concerned about this watch? Does this call its authenticity (in whole or in part) in to question?I've see some pictures of other 15202STs and noticed that the date wheel font is different. Can anyone confirm that mine is the same or different as theirs? Thanks for you input.
Nautilus Peculiar Scratches
Hi All,I had purchased a brand new double sealed 5711 from an AD in London not too long ago and had the bracelet resized at the AD.However, a couple of days later i noticed scratches on the link closest to the watch case - it looks as though something has run sharply against it. Upon closer inspection, I noticed another two of these types of scratches in between the very small gaps in the links i.e. on the top of the polished center link.I am confused as to how these could have gotten there. What type of tool does a watchmaker use to remove these pins as i can not think of any other explanation other than some carelessness in removing the links and the watchmaker somehow managed to get the tip of the tool perfectly in between the links to scratch them from the top.Sometime has passed now since i bought the watch however these scratches are still bothering me because they were not caused by myself and given where they are, i worry that even during routine servicing (and polishing) it wi

What make/model for every day wear?
Looking for a every day wear tank to rotate with my Submariner and am looking for suggestions. I've got a big wrist so size doesnt matter and I'm partial to ceramic, thanks, Jim
Tudor Black Bay Dark PVD durability
I've seen quite a few threads on the topic of the Black Bay Dark and thoughts about how the PVD will hold up but none of them seem to have been updated by BB Dark owners. My son wants one and I'm curious if anyone who owns the watch and wears it regularly has an opinion on the ruggedness of the coating. Thanks.Nw
