In 1984 Paolo and Nicola Bvlgari became Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Bvlgari
In 1984 Paolo and Nicola Bvlgari became Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Bvlgari Company, while nephew Francesco Trapani became the company's CEO. It was Trapani who came up with the idea to diversify the range of Bvlgari products. In the 1990-s he introduced the Bvlgari perfume line. Trapani has greatly contributed to the international establishment of the company's reputation as the producer of exceptional luxury goods.
Joining AP Club
Looking at joining the AP club.watchguru/WatchFiend/...-Reserve/13025Found this over at watch guru wanted to know if it was priced well as some of Tom's pieces can be slightly more. Haven't been able to find another one around so not much to compare.
Seamaster Professional-unrepairable
Switzerland just called the AD and said that my Seamaster Professional, that I recently bought, could not be serviced up to Omega specs. They offered a discount on a new one, only $3300! It is being sent back. I have never heard of anything like this, as the guy I bought it from said it kept perfect time for the two years he had it. He never had it serviced. This is the watch I posted earlier with ground off serial numbers.
Omega Apollo 11 & Vancouver 2010
Even though I have only ever bought Rolex from my AD they offered me both the Vancouver 2010 (125 out of 2010) and Apollo 11 limited edition. Are these really sought after in Omega circles? The box on the Apollo 11 is quite nice.
Selecting A First (and possibly only) Rolex Sports Watch
Hi All!Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself as a new member of this amazing forum! I have always had an affinity for watches and all things manufactured and/or engineered. I have just started to become, what I consider to be, a serious watch collector and would love to have your opinions on which Rolex sports model you all would suggest for me. I work in real estate development so I am constantly shifting between rigorous work environments and more gentile settings (think architects offices, bank meetings, etc). I currently have a Speedmaster Professional on a leather strap as my daily wearer and wanted to add something to alternate with when the mood strikes me. I love my Speedmaster but a little bit of variety is more than welcome and I have come to really appreciate the Rolex brand!I have plotted out what I feel will be my future collection, I think its important to consider the entire context of the collection to answer the question I have posed:Daily Wear: - Speedmaste
