Grand Seiko SBGR097 Ltd Ed Watch In 42mm-Wide Case
The default size today for Grand Seiko's more classic timepieces is somewhere between 38mm and 40mm wide in diameter. That isn't a bad size in general, but for some looking to wear the pieces more casually and with short sleeves, these sizes can be too small. Seiko is one of those brands that both listens to consumers and also makes their own decisions about product development, so it makes sense that 42mm-wide classically-designed Grand Seiko "dress" watches are now available in these larger diameters. The 42mm-wide Grand Seiko SBGR family was officially debuted at Baselworld 2015, but now Seiko releases a new limited edition model with the Grand Seiko SBGR097 that comes with a repeating "GS" logo blue dial. The Grand Seiko SBGR097 is technically part of the brand's ongoing "55th anniversary of Grand Seiko" which became part of the Seiko universe in 1960. Baselworld 2013: Casio PRO TREK PRW-3000 - New Sensor In Smaller Case
The Casio PRO TREK PRW-3000 for 2013 has been announced, and let me tell you why I am?particularly interested. In a nutshell Casio has released a smaller, sleek looking, very capable PRO TREK watch with improved sensors (at a reasonable price). You probably know that Casio PRO TREKs are found on the wrists of people engaged in all manner of outdoor activities, on mountain trails, in deserted places or for everyday activities where risking a very expensive watch is not an option.I have always been interested in compass watches in some form or another due to a?latent?survivalist?mentality that wanted to anticipate what equipment I would need in a?disaster scenario. Aside from food and water, a compass watch would always be in the mix, so that I could, in my?hypothetical?emergency, find my way somewhere to safety. This obsession is almost laughable now that I think about it.?Back in the days before the PRO TREK, I bought several of the early compass watches that Casio had introduced to the

Pricing a used SuperOcean Steelfish X Plus help needed!
I bought a SuperOcean Steelfish X Plus and it came with the Prof 1 series bracelet on it 6 years ago. It is way to big for my wrist IMO. Great watch but just don't want it anymore as I went back to a Sub.My question is after looking they have been discontinued and a quick check of Ebay shows bids from $1200 to over 2K on them so I need to know what I should price mine at?I have all the boxes, paperwork, and links that were took off to fit my wrist.I bought the watch NIB from Authentic Watches. It has a dated and stamped warranty card however I now know this is considered a grey market watch and there will be no serial numbers that go with it. How much will that effect the value?Any help would be welcome. Thanks,James
