Nomos Club and Club Dunkel Review
When it comes to high-end watches, there is one thing that the most revered watches always have in common: in-house calibers, or manufacture movements. The art of watch making, for the purists, is in the movement. It represents a set of skills that take decades to culminate and even longer to perfect. Movements are designed to be elegant, complicated, efficient, innovative, brilliant, and host of other exalting words. They are miniature mechanical works of art that hearken to a long and rich history of craft and technology. The dials and cases of a watch reflect the mastery within. It's no secret that these watches can cost tremendous amounts of money. From several thousand for a more mass-produced movement, such as an Omega, to tens of thousands for a Jaeger-LeCoultre, to hundreds of thousands for a small-run hand assembled grande complication, such as a Breguet Double Tourbillon. As such, they don't often grace the pages of worn&wound, except in our "watch lust" category. Most of

Watch sent January 8, returned for pickup January 31. Yes, I have had a few issues with the 3120 but AP takes care of them very promptly.
New Strap
Last year I purchased a SuperOcean II 44 Special. It originally was supplied with an Ocean Racer rubber strap with tang buckle. While this strap is great for diving (I use a short wrist lanyard looped through one of the holes for added security), I recently ordered a Military Rubber strap with deployant buckle. IMO this is a much better look for this watch and is more comfortable. I included photos of the before and after.
Finding the right bracelet
Hi,I just won an 1994 15200 Date in an auction. It comes with a leather bracelet, and I would like to find a nice bracelet. Does the bracelet have some kind of serial number so that I can search for the exact same type that came with the watch originally? Thankful for any other tips for finding a nice bracelet for this watch. Thanks, Lars
Would you trust a watch with a sketchy history from a reputable AD?
Long story short- very reputable local AD. I was checking out a Submariner circa 2012. He explicitly pointed out the watches warranty card was tampered with and altered by the former owner- he had literally taken a sharpie, blacked out all original info, and then written a 2016 date below it. Watch was in great shape and about $7500. What would you think in this scenario?
