While we're die-hard vintage Breitling fans, we can recognize good development when we see it. A couple of months ago we reported on the Breitling Transocean Chronograph. That model hankered for its roots and introduced a vintage theme and a simpler two-register layout. The new Transocean Chronograph?1915 takes that development?a step further by introducing a new dial design, new case and, most importantly, a new manufacture caliber.?The Transocean 1915 starts with a 43 mm by?14.6 mm case in polished stainless steel. Instead of applied indexes like its predecessor, the Transocean 1915 has printed Arabic numerals. Omega Chronometer hang tag
I want to complete a set for my 2231.80 Seamaster 300m chrono that I bought new from AD back in 2000 but didn't the come with the red chrono hang tag nor serial # tag.To my surprise it seems these hang tags are quite rare ! I found two for sale on chrono24 commanding prices around $90.Any idea why these Omega tags are so rare and expensive ? E.g Rolex tags are 7x cheaper and readily available.I even found a site that sells Omega tag replicas

Removing an aquanaut rubber strap
Its been my experience that removing an aquanaut rubber bracelet is difficult because in addition to the standard spring bar, there are two anchors perpendicular to the spring bars that fit directly into the case of the watch.Has anyone tried to remove one with a Bergeron 6825 tool? I did a search and saw that some of you used them with success on rolexes, but i think the 5167 lug width is 21 rather than 20. Since they are pliers I was thinking it might work more easily, and by that I mean help me avoid scratching the back of the lugs...I really love the rubber strap, but would like to try a leather strap from time to time without tearing up my watch
