Found: The Most Amazing Vintage Watch Website Nobody's Heard Of (But Not For Long)
I recently came across an incredible website – a kind of paradise if, like me, you are passionate about vintage watches. Timeline.Watch, started as the virtual catalog of experienced watch enthusiast Dan Henry after 30 years of collecting. It's an incredible project: an interactive timeline covering a period of a hundred years, and not only that: Henry has made it possible for other passionate collectors to add their watches to the timeline. I had the chance to learn more about Dan's ambitious project, his hopes, and how he had chased all those gorgeous pieces in the first place. What is realistic Nautilus 5711A price?
Hi guys,I wonder what is realistic Nautilus 5711A blue face price to buy right now without waiting in waiting list? New, or real like new condition. In Europe. Real world examples would be nice :)
Anyone know what is this?
I was just browsing the net and came across this beauty.. It is sold few months ago at USD477K!! This is one of the coolest panerai I ever seen! Anyhow, I am wondering what's the story with the bezel cap or insert or whatever it is called (pic above not mine) but it makes the watch look so cool!! Only if it can clip onto my 372!! Thanks for your kind feedbacks and sharing your knowledge! Cheers! jenReference to .watchcollectinglifestyle....tion-in-geneva
to use a winder... or erm, not?
Interesting that there's a definite split of people using winders when their rolex isnt on the wrist v those who do.Assuming I'm talking a decent winder, one that rotates gently one way for a few minutes, has a random delay, then rotates again for a while, rather than a cheap rotate constantly one. Given that, do you think it's better for a watch to be kept wound like that or better to leave it dead until it's next worn?
Skydweller date change methods
It's March 1, the annual date change.Which method did you use?A. Bezel turn once quickset date B. Bezel turn twice, adjust hour hand to advance the dateC. Bezel turn 3 times, hack the movement, advance the minute hand until correct date and time.
