Damasko DK14 and DK15 Review
Editor’s note: The following article/review originally appeared on WUS. It is a hands-on look at a rare watch that we’ve been?interested in some time. Damasko is known for their metals and engineering, but they happen to also be one of the few manufacturers of in-house movements available under $5k. The article was written by Brett of Timeless Luxury Watches, which is a retailer of Damasko. ?This is neither a sponsored post or an advertorial, merely a guest post.Today I get to review two watches, and one movement, that I've been dying to see in person for a very long time. Those watches are the Damasko DK14 and DK15, and the movement is their extraordinarily advanced in house A35, one of two in house movements currently made by Damasko (although they modify others).Everything about these watches is unique to Damasko. The way the cases are made, the way the crown screws down, the gaskets, and of course, the movement. But it's not just another ETA clone manufactured in house.
ROO ceramic Q
Am I right in thinking the first examples of the Ceramic ROO came with a black dial like the FC before it switched to the anthracite one?

It's 2015 but I still want it to be 2014!
Well what an end to 2014! I began the year Patekless and now I have 2 pieces in my vintage Rolex dominated collection! You might remember my post from August 2014 .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=368474 I sort opinion on the 5960/1A and the 5170G, the latter eventually winning the day.Well this forum certainly enables!, like Duncan (gunrnnr) it was killing me to see the influx of 5960/1A posts, a massaging of the finances this way and that, up and down and round and around, saw me give permission to Santa to do his best in seeking me out a watch. He delivered!, I'd obviously been a good lad! (though HUGE credit goes to my very understanding wife in letting me proceed and who tolerates my passion especially as I know the money I spend could be put to many other uses, especially needy family ones). I don't think I'll be able to emulate 2014 come this year but that won't stop me enjoying this great forum as much as have to date. My new acquisition, a still sealed 2014 PP 5960/1A to acco
DSSD Being Discontinued: Prices & Demand
Numerous sources from Europe (ADs) typically reply (to requests for availability of the JC DSSD) that orders/deliveries for DSSD are now closed and that the DSSD is being discontinued (i am thus guessing that had this been true the DSSD discontinuation is taking effect after Basel this year as the DSSD is still on the main website of Rolex). I was wondering and that is the point of this thread:How will the prices and demand of DSSD and DSSD JC be affected had this info been true? What say you?
