My old mans 65 in a couple of months and I would love to get him an Omega from his birth year 1946. Has anyone got any dealers in the UK they would recommend I contact? He isnt in to watches like I am but it would be nice to get him a good quality vintage.

I really want a cool all precious metal Rolex. I have owned a 36mm Day Date in YG 20 years ago and sold it (mistake!). I tried on both the 228238 and the 116618 LN at my AD yesterday. Loved them both, but the Sub is definitely more sporty. This would not be a daily wearer. I would wear it for special occasions, out to dinner, maybe on vacation, etc. Thoughts? I'm a 49 year old professional BTW.
