Watches NEWS
GIVEAWAY: Delma Santiago Blue Shark
Swiss Delma watches aren't known too well outside of Europe. They produce attractive, mid-range mechanical and quartz watches that include fun mechanical dive watches like the Santiago Blue Shark. A predominance of orange (versus blue) on the dial might have you take issue with the name, but it is nevertheless a diver to be reckoned with. At 47mm wide, the Santiago Blue Shark isn't a watch for lightweights. The all-steel case is water resistant to a depth of 3,000 meters.? The steel bezel comes in brushed steel or PVD black, and the crystal is sapphire. This deep diver contains a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement and retails for $2,196. You have a chance to win one this month on watches-dealer by following the simple instructions and entering below. To Enter You Must: 1. 1st time AP purchase suggestions
Hi all, New to this forum & seeking suggestions for my 1st AP purchase. I have a 8 1/4 wrist, so i was leaning towards a larger model. My thoughts: AP The Legacy, T3, RB2 Ti. Or should i go less high end & look at the 42's like the ROO elephant or black/red? The ROO are smaller & more reasonably priced but i worry about the scratches that will be incured on the benzel, because i plan on wearing!Thank you!!!
Who plans going to Basel this year?
Does anyone know if Patek launch their new models the opening day of Basel, a few days before for the press? And who plans to go there? I will probably have to come back in France for business in March if I can I would like to try to go, is it possible to order a model there or is it just to introduce them to the watch loonies like us?My wife has a cousin who lives on the french side very close to Basel like this she could see her cousin and I could go see Patek.Do you need special invitations or you just need to pay the entrance? Thanks for your replies

I've been bit by the 36mm bug!
My wrist is around 6.5 inches, but because it is flat on top, I have real estate to wear watches up to 42 mm and up to 48.5 lug-to-lug (BB, Speedy, etc.). I recently bought a Datejust 116200 (36mm), and it feels prefect as soon a I put it on! Now I've caught the 36mm bug and wish my other watches were smaller!Has anyone else gone through this?
