Ladoire RGT (Roller Guardian Time) GMT Watch
Ladoire is a new Swiss watch makers with an interesting timepiece called the RGT. That is supposed to stand for "Roller Guardian Time," which makes no sense to me, but I will just smooth past that. The watch is unique as a regulator. I think maybe they missed the point of what a regulator watch is supposed to be, as the minute dial is really small, but that is OK. Interestingly enough, on this watch, the major dial along with the biggest hand is dedicated to a second timezone indicator (the GMT hand). If that watch reminds you of Hautlence and MCT watches, that is because they share some of the same engineering DNA.OK, so lets move away from titles and description to focus on the interesting movement and design. Emergency V. Emergency Mission
Looking at purchasing an Emergency or Emergency Mission. The watch will be worn while flying as well as during normal activities like showering, some swimming, basically an everyday watch when I am not wearing a suit. I see that the Emergency is only water resistant to 30m! (3 bar), which would really disqualify it from showering and swimming, correct? I understand the WR rating is based on pressure to the case and not actual water depth. The Emergency Mission on the other hand is WR to 100m, which seems more suitable for the above activities. Hi guys....?My wife Just received this vintage patek watch from her mother.... Her mother bought it in 1981 where she was in Singapore. ?Its a white gold with diamond bezel. Please see picture.Do any of you know this paticular model?How much is the resale value on this particular model today? By counting the number of diamonds it self, its approx 108 pcs more or less. I cannot measure the diamond size but roughly between 0.02 Ct - 0.04 Ct.Watch is still in good condition and complete with original box and paper.Im a rolex and omega fans, so i know little about patek model. Appriciate your kind advise... Thanks so much..
