Hublot Bling Evolution: Diamonds On A Big Bang Watch
Years ago when the first Hublot Big Bang came out it was an interesting watch to most people. It had an aggressive military and industrial sensibility to it that so many men enjoyed back then, and still enjoy today. Not everyone is in love with Hublot watches, but most tend to agree that the Big Bang was a solid design. So solid that for a long time Hublot became typecast as a firm making only Big Bang watches. That is until a few years ago when watches like the King Power and others came along to fill in the product line a bit more.Going back to the Big Bang I thought it would be interesting to explore the "jewelry-ification" of the piece. From the original masculine design to pieces completely covered in diamonds, it is fascinating to see how the core design has held up to being studded in diamonds. The newest diamond-dressed Big Bang watch is called the Hublot Baby Million (though I am not sure what is so "baby" about it). It is a $302,000 priced piece with 28 carats of diamonds on
AP vs. Panerai - size and weight comparisons?
Hi, I'm still not sure which AP I want. The 15710 diver or the 42mm chrono (black and grey). I'd like to put a bracelet on it and change straps. I've gotten rid of my 311 so I no longer have the Panerai to weight or measure. I realize it was titanium but I've also had ss Panerai's. I know the Panerai was 44mm vs 42mm but what about height. The AP's I've mentioned are basically 14mm tall. Does anyone know what the Panerai's 1950 cases are with with contemporary done or historic dome? Any comparison pics would be a huge bonus. Thanks!!Everett

had some time to play with the camera...
new to the scene
hi allIm totally newbie to the world of PAM... but ive had my head turned - and im learning what i like and what the values are with a view to buying one some time soon.ive worked thro, Breitling, omega, rolex and AP sampling the models i liked or could afford... with varying degrees of pleasure / dissapointment regarding the value retention when it comes to selling the watch on again.... (i cant keep them - i have to flip for financial reasons)so my question is - where about on the spectrum does PANERAI sit ??, referring to resale value.... (assuming i buy used from a dealer rather than new) - thanks in advance
My plan for Rolex unavailability
Staching 20k away in muni bond and wait for the recession to hit. When folks stop buying because recession that's when I'll strike!
