The shine comes from light refracting off the various flat planes on the cut gem. When you are inspecting a diamond, you gently turn it in the light to admire its sparkle. Using this same concept, the designers of these three watches specifically places diamonds on the moving parts so as to enhance the sparkle factor. Suggestions on these Speedys...Pre-Moon (145.012-67) OR 35th Anniv Panda (3569.31)
Hey guys,I've been looking to pickup a Speedy to add to the collection for some time and have narrowed it down to these two references the pre-moon 145.012-67 and the 35th Anniv 3569.31...two very different models, but for similar reasons. Outside of all the heritage stuff that we all know, it comes down to the value each piece provides. Pre-Moon 145.012-67 Finding a Cal 321 with a case that is in good condition, that hasn't been polished, still has all of its original parts (ie the bezel), and with the aged lume still intact is harder to find...but provides a great value. Haven't been able to find one with original bezel and lume still intact in person yet. Seen some on eBay tho...35th Anniv 3569.31This reference with the panda dial just does it for me, and with its production being limited to 3500 pieces, it makes it all the better. I found one at a vintage watch dealer in the LA area, but it doesn't come with box/papers, and they are asking a bit too much for it at just over $5200.

Seamaster Pro timing issue
I bought a 2254.50 in January. It's pre-loved. The previous owner said he had it timed and pressure tested. I have been checking the time and it averages -6 seconds a day so far. Usually on the wrist it's about -4 or 5 but when it's on the winder or resting in the watch drawer it will loose as much as 9 or 10 sec/day. Does anyone have any ideas or advice about this? Thanks in advance.

I just joined the Panerai family and couldn't be happier! It literally took me years to finally decide, but I landed on the 312. My requirements were limiting: 1950-style case, second and date complication, 44mm.
