As soon as I learned that said individual was near Silicon Valley and not in Switzerland, I was immediately intrigued. I'd venture a guess that the former implies some proficient level of functionality and engineering, whereas the latter all to frequently implies a chic design with gold, and sometimes diamonds. My Wife Said What????
I have been Patek shopping trying on different models without my wife. Last Monday we had to take my son to Cincinnati so he could fly back to Florida. We live in Indy and with my dad's death, we were only able to get him a flight back on Allegiant with 4 hours notice. I found the address of a Patek dealer and wanted to try on different models while my wife was shopping at Ikea and other stores. She said she would go with me to my surprise. She has tolerated my watch hobby so far and I was concerned when she asked prices of various pieces. Roll ahead to last night after church, she said she wanted to get me my first Patek for Christmas! Enough said........

Andy Garcia's Rolex - What am I looking at here?
Hi gents! I was perusing youtube this morning and came across a video entitled Will There Be a Godfather 4? | Andy Garcia | Larry King Now - Ora TV. I can't post the link since I'm so new, but at 1:52 I got a glimpse of a really cool watch. Andy Garcia is rocking what appears to me to be a GMT Master II with an explorer GMT hand. Is this a mod or was this a factory option at some point? Is this even a Rolex or is it something that just looks similar? Apologies if this has been covered before or is common knowledge. As someone who loves GMT Masters and the black-dial explorer this watch really appeals to me. Any info would be appreciated!
