Conversation with AD's (by telephone)
I was calling a few AD's to see if they have a watch I am considering (RG ROC black dial bracelet). The 2 that I called said that they are not offering any discount and that they could cover insured shipping. The 3rd offered a discount, but not enough to be a good deal. I'll admit that I didn't spend too much time building rapport but it is known that they offer better discounts.How much time do you guys spend negotiating, building rapport, etc.Wish people would not want to waste time and just make a good deal. Wire funds and enjoy the weekend. Smh!

Incoming alert - about to join the club
Well, after drooling over the AP forum for a little while, I decided to do what most everyone here has done at one point or another and relied on David SW to come through for me and get my grail watch. Anxiously awaiting delivery on Saturday of the first AP in my collection. This will go along nicely with my Patek and Vacheron to complete my Holy Trinity and I can't wait. Pics coming soon....

Panerai 233 on a green canvas strap
Just taking delivery of my green canvas strap from time connection. Will see how my 233 likes the new shoes. Still love the storm grey from toshi straps. The leather is so soft and supple on that one. This strap feels a little stiff at the moment so am hoping it will loosen up after a few wears.
