Personally, I think that Panerai, should be maintained until a few models and variations. Before I fileront too long and too designate of the right way to Rolex ol ' produce variations, I return to the meeting. One other thing I noticed, is that there is that small interest in the movement itself.
Editors' Picks: A Sub-$5,000 Mechanical Watch To Buy Now, And The Watch It Will Make You Want To
So what do you do when you have $5,000 to spend on a watch? Read HODINKEE of course. We've got four of our editors to consider the question for you: what's the best buy in mechanical watches under $5000 – and what's your new prize, once you have it on the wrist, going to make you want to save for? Well, read on, friends. We have listed our top mechanical watches for under $5,000 and a similar (more expensive) watch that you're going to start to yearn for once you're hooked on watches. Cara Barrett C The NOMOS Zrich And The A. Lange & S?hne Saxonia Automatic 1 OF 8 Well, NOMOS and Lange may be the obvious choice here, but what can I say? And for the “save for later watch” I would choose the Lange Saxonia Automatic in white gold.

Patek Breitling trade off?
Hello gents,I've a serious quandary here.I currently own a Rolex Datejust ii, a couple of Breitlings, including a Chronomat 44 and a Superocean 44 (which is my watch that I can wear in the sea, swimming pool, with suncream etc and it'll take all that 'abuse')Finally I have a Breitling Navitimer 18K Rose Gold 01. This watch is a stunner and it cost me about $17,000. I promised I wouldn't buy another Breitling but when I saw this I just dove at it. To me it an iconic piece in the range, with a relatively new in house B01 movement so I just went for it. It looks stunning too.In any case, as time passed and I started to set my sights on a few Patek pieces, it dawned on me that to spend 17k on a Breitling was probably foolish and myopic. Buyer's remorse is a funny thing, but you eventually get to a point where you can talk about it.Maybe remorse is that wrong word because this is a lovely solid gold watch (google image it, I don't have it to hand unfortunately) It also gets 100's of complim
