Where specifically to send 8500 PO for warranty repair?
I have an 8500 PO that had a crown failure. The whole crown and stem just pulled out of the watch when I went to set the time... Problem is the AD I bought it from is no longer an Omega dealer due to an internal squabble...but they were definitely an AD when I bought it. So since the former AD can't help me, where should I send it? Should I take it to an Omega boutique and have them send it in for service through their channel? I think they all go to Seattle from boutiques... Or Since I live in FL, should I mail it myself to Miami SGUS Omega repair? Seems silly to ship it send it to Seattle when there is a service facility in my own state... Any advice is appreciated..
5524g
I am contemplating acquiring a Patek 5524g in the very near future. Would love to hear from current and former owners of this reference. If you did own the 5524g and parted ways with it, was there a particular reason? Unfortunately the local AD is sold out of this model so I am not able to try it on. I am less concerned about the 42mm size as I am about the 2 Travel Time pushers on the left side of the case digging into the wrist. Has anyone experienced this issue?Thank you in advance for your input.

Incoming Explorer and thoughts on my journey thus far
Forgive the long-winded post - I think I may have too much free time at my desk this morning...I've nearly reached the end of my self-imposed delay at long last. Later today, I'm headed to the AD to pick up the Explorer they put aside for me nearly three long months ago, and I really do feel like I did at 10 years old on Christmas Eve, before heading to my beloved Grandmother's house for the feast and celebrations and, of course, presents. When I went to the AD back in August to choose which model I wanted, I promised to myself that I would only pick it up as a reward for accomplishing a few important things, some of which needed a little more time, and now I'm finally there. Also, as I outlined in another post somewhere, when it comes to luxury or pleasure-based purchases, I've always really enjoyed the anticipation nearly as much as the possession, so it wasn't too hard for me to make the decision to wait a little. It'll make the experience later this afternoon that much sweeter, aft
