15202 or 15400??
I am heading towards a 3 watch collection lifestyle and have already chosen the 2 first, a PP 5712 in SS, a Rolex sub LV aka the Hulk, and as a third am pulled towards an AP RO, but am hesitating a lot, until today between a Dual time or plain dial, and now between the 2 models mentioned above, in any case in blue, I know my PP will have a blue dial but it's my fav color.just don't know which to put, the Jumbo looks great but is only 39mm, have never tried one but like 40mm+, for me the PP 5712 is at the limit of my size factors, it's ok because very thin, so don't know about the JUMBO.About the 15400 I like the 41mm and the fact that there is a second hand.Is there a difference between the 2121 movement and the 3120? Except that the 3120 has a second hand? For thickness it's 1,7mm difference, in other words almost nothing. The Jumbo blue dial looks lighter blue than the 15400 on the site's pics, is it really the case or just a lighting question? Also do the dials change color like Nauti
Decisions decisions...
Recently I posted an inquiry about choosing between a new style rose gold rubber clad and a the rose gold 44mm offshore. Well, since I couldn't decide based on pics I picked up the 44 and figured having the two would make my decision easier...not exactly!! Now I have these two beautiful pieces each with their own charm but I have to let one go!! Agh!! I'm torn between the refinement of the 44 and the classic look of the rubber clad...this is going to be interesting! Anyway, thought I'd post some pics (I had the boutique mount the rubber clad on a Don Ramon hornback to dress it up a bit). Let me know what you all think! -Carlos
Forged Carbon questions
I had a few questions for the more seasoned Forged Carbon owners:1. what can damage FC? or what's the easiest way to damage an FC case?2. how easily does FC scratch? what kind of metal can scratch it? I know the grain disguises it but how soft is the surface/susceptible is it to any scratches?3. can any light surface scratches be buffed? resurfaced?
Speedmaster popularity
It seems that the Moon Watch is the most popular Speedmaster and a supposed must have in ones collection. After getting one of those, which Speedmaster would come you want to have next?
Speedy Bracelet question
Hi guysI have a Speedy 35593200 Schumacher.Sorry, I dont have any photos at the moment. But if you could picture the bracelet and the center links (the brushed middle links with the polished side sections).About 4 of the links are'nt as large/thick as the others. Is this normal?Should these links be located on the clasp ends of the bracelet (the inside of the wrist)? where the wrist is flatter?I suppose another way of putting my question over is, do all the center links have the same dimentions?Kind regardsJon
