Watches NEWS
Incoming AP Elephant
Well I finally bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on an AP that I was thinking about for a long long time. Needless to say I am super excited to finally be adding the AP to my stable of watches. thanks everyone for the advice over the many months / years checking out AP i appreciate all of the help.Without further ado here is a wrist shot!
Incoming: My First of 2016
picked this up over the weekend, and I couldn't be more pleased. I know some will say the market is soft, this reference is bound to drop more, etc. but, all things considered, I think I got a great price (over the long run), and it feels like a keeper anyway. I imagine it will take some time to get used to the weight, but I can see this as my daily wearer for quite some time.
PAM 312 Watch Winder
I was looking to purchase a watch winder for my PAM 312 and wanted to ask which winder would be good fit for this larger mm size watch. Thanks in advance!
The Official Datejust II Owners Club
I did a search on this Forum to confirm if a such a thread exists or not and could not find anything. So, with that being said, I think it is long overdue that a thread dedicated to the Datejust II be started. This is a fantastic watch. A modern classic, if you will. It has a large 41mm dial which reflects current trends, but has the classic fluted bezel which the is a Datejust staple.Below is a picture of my beloved Datejust II 116333 with one of the best dial combinations Rolex has ever produced. My opinion of course.Let's see what the rest of you have!
Would you trade a ceramic GMT and DJII 41mm for a SD43?
I'm not saying I have this proposition in front of me, but I potentially could. Thoughts?
