Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Watch
I quite like this watch even though it is relatively simple. Just good old fashioned good looks - Parmigiani style. Really a good formal watch for their collection. Coming in gold, it has an in-house made movement and quite a soothing style if you ask me.Read my full article on the Parmigiani Tonda 1950 watch at Haute Living here.
Talking Watches: With Kevin Rose
Believe it or not, before I became interested in watches, I was interested in other things. My obsession as a teenager and into my twenties was indeed, unsurprisingly, the Internet. It seems almost silly to say that now, but when I was 14 years old and my friends were playing football on a Saturday afternoon, I was (at times) writing code, building my own website. There was a time when "the Internet" and its use was anything but a given. Clearly I wasn't alone in my fascination with the Web, and there were many that I looked up to when it came to Web-based entrepreneurship. One such person was Kevin Rose.Kevin Rose co-founded Digg in his early twenties, and went on to become a staple of the original dot-com era. Since, he's become a storied angel investor, placing capital into the likes of companies that I think might really be onto something – companies like Twitter, Square, Uber, and Facebook. His track record as an investor was so strong that Google asked him
B01 Help
Hi GuysI am a bit confused. I saw 'B01 chronomat' (I think) a few years ago, at the time I was just starting my Rolex collection. I am now in the market for a 'B01' but don't see much reference to them, are they discontinued or do the go by another name now? Thanks in advance.
Used Omega 3570.50 - where to shop (delivery to UK)
Hi everyone, This is the time I decided to buy my first real watch and I am very nervous about it.After hours of surfing through the internet I decided that my watch of choice will be Omega Speedmaster Professional 3570.50. So the most classic of moonwatches. Due to limited budget, I can only afford a second-hand piece. So this is my question to all of you Omega lovers. The only reliable site I found for second-hand watches is Chrono24. Also there were few on ebay but I am afraid of custom fees when they are shipped to UK from Japan or US. Are there maybe any Omega second-hand stores in London? (I didn't find any particular when searching for them online). My budget is generally around up to 2,200 ($3,250) and I am looking for something younger than 2006 as they are usually in the condition I like. Also I would really like it with the original box and papers/cards. Thank you for your help,Matt
