AP royal oak day date moonphase
Hi all, I'm new to the AP brand and not very familiar with their full catalogue yet, but my research has brought me to spot a particular model which I think is a real beauty! The article in question states this a 1984 APRO day/date moonphase and I was hoping to get more information about the model. Would anyone know what specific model this is? Or even better yet, any members here own this particular watch? Does it have a transparent case back? How would a 30 year old AP hold up in terms of accurate and reliability? Is there a similar currently model, and what would be the pricing difference between new and vintage? Thanks!

Today is my Birthday so I decided to treat myself...
I did not get a new watch but I enjoyed some Johnnie Walker Blue Label! If you have not had Blue Label you should definitely check it out! It is a bargain at $40/shot!Also it just so happened that my drink finished off a bottle, and so the bartender was nice enough to send the bottle home with meIt was a great birthday!
What about 5204p ?
Hi everyoneI have quiet good pieces in my collection like 5164a, 5990a, 5980/1r, 5711/1p, 5524g, 5131r, 6102p and I have been keeping an eye on 5204p(black dial) for a while. I didn't any of it around and also did not see any topics about it here. I would like to know about what you think of it ? Does it make sense compared to 5270 ? is it really that limited produced since it is split second ? Do you believe it has a future value ?Any comments and suggestions related to it is welcome. what to check when buying a new rolex?
Apologies, I'm sure it must have been asked before.I'm going to buy a new rolex from an AD I haven't used before. I'm sure they're reputable, or at least, I assume they are and they're linked from Rolex AD site. What would be sensible due diligence to do at the shop when I pick up the watch?Compare serial number on the paperwork with the watch (is it in an easy to read place on the watch?)Any other common sense stuff should do?
