Hands-On: With The $605,000 Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 2: Further Proof Winston Can Go "Haute"
The Histoire de Tourbillon 2 from Harry Winston costs almost three times the price of the Opus Eleven, and it is far more rare.? This 48.5mm bi-axial flying tourbillon is an extraordinary piece of haute horology, one that further proves this brand has what it takes to compete against the established players in the world of complications.? We got the chance to play the Histoire de Tourbillon 2 in the room above Winston's 5th avenue boutique, a room once occupied by Harry Winston's personal office.? Omega Boutique Event in Atlanta, GA
Had the pleasure of attending an Omega Boutique event in Atlanta last week with a good number of watch geeks from around GA and even one for South Carolina. The Omega team were gracious hosts, great watches new and vintage, adult beverages an overall a great time. Tim McCain (Boutique Manager) And Les Lim (sales) were absolute first rate gentlemen and incredible watch guys!First - a shout out to redbarATL members Alex and Doug who were kind enough to loan out a few of their Omegas to those who didn't own an Omega at the moment (I wore my Sinn but stashed it when I put on a vintage Omega TV - see pics below) they channeled their inner Oprah with their Omegas:The Seamaster had an engraving on the back from 1953, I forget what it said but very cool to meWinner(s) of the Looks 10x better in person category were the new Anniversary ModelsVintage was well representedThe Memomatic had both Minute and Hours Alarms The 321 was to die forLoved the Blue Steel / Grey dial on the TV SpeedmasterSpea
New Teaser Up!
Omega just released a new animated teaser on their homepage and instagram. Their title is Here it is. Every piece of our newest watch. https://.instagram/omega/Looking to me, and most of us on OF, that we're seeing our first glimpses of the new Railmaster. Very fun teaser and I thought I would share it with other Omega fans here on TRF. Between the presumed releases of new Railmaster, Seamaster, and Speedy 60th anniversary this should be quite the year for Omega fans!
