Need advice! AP Volcano v Hublot DMA11
I was hoping to sell one my watches due to financial reasons... the two I am thinking about is the Hublot Big Bang DMA11 Maradona Spec or the AP Royal Oak Offshore Volcano Spec. Both similar prices I believe, ideally I was thinking of holding onto the AP but just thinking with the Mardona it is limited addition (out of 500 made) but is it actually going to hold value later on? Hmmmmm I wanted to keep hold of at least one of them so I can pass it on to my kids in near future. What would you do? Any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated.
Interested in a Speedy
Good Evening/Morning, Everyone.I am looking to purchase my first Omega. I was given 2 vintage pieces when my grandfather passed away and at the moment a Rolex is out of reach price wise. I also tend to gravitate towards the Daytona which is out of reach for the moment. I really like how the Speedy looks and wears. I just have a few questions about the major differences between the Speedy Pro and Regular models. Are there any references/calibers that have proven to be problematic, have issues, or that I should try and find?I've been looking on EBay and even though I tend to stay away from online purchases, the particular seller I have found has literally dozens of Speedy's and good feedback. I also would be protected by PayPal protection. I have attached a few links to some of the watches I have looked at. The seller is in Japan. I obviously want the watch to be all original with the original movement, etc, so are there any tells or ways I can identify this? Unfortunately the Canadian do
Omega 300 1972 (still glows?)
Hi i am looking this watch over and it looks almost new! The lume glows bright and the movement looks untouched and spotless. Can any one see if there is something up or is it just a great watch from 72.Thanks
Does this look authentic?
I'm thinking of purchasing this watch from a local private owner. I haven't seen it in person yet, but it will be a face to face deal. He originally wanted $1500, but after talking to me a couple of times I have him down to $1100. It doesn't have box or papers, and the kicker is he says it is a quartz, but the pic to me looks like an automatic four lines of text, though blurry, in my book means Chronometer. So either the pic isn't of the actual watch, or he doesn't know what he has... I'm gonna offer him 1k, and if he accepts I'll go check it out in person. Maybe a little warm to the touch? Hmmm.... Thoughts? I have a weakness for this particular model.
