2LMX Watch
Just announced is the new watch brand 2LMX with their first watchthe 2LMX. I think a model name will come later. The super cool mechanical timepiece is one of those things that helps me explain to people what I do when they ask "how is it that you write at least once a day on watches?" Because cool stuff like this keeps coming out. The watch is the brainchild of Arnaud Tellier. He is the former head of the Geneva Patek Philippe museum.Interesting that he and his pals went futuristic after he resided over classic and vintage pieces for so long. The 2LMX watch reminds me of the Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical watch (a lot). These watches share concepts including the overall design. They both have vertically mounted tourbillons, they both have split dials, and they both have highly exposed cases and movements. Constructed in steel and ceramics, the Octo Quadri-Retro Chronograph features a quadrupe retrograde (minutes, date and chronograph hour and minute counter) and a continual jump-hour at 12 o'clock.? I am wondering if anyone had send in your METAS certified watch for servicing.Will the service cost an Arm or a Leg?Will the watch be send back to METAS for testing upon overhaul completion.This is a very new movement, hence seeking feedback.

Ready for replacements. Opinions needed.
Hi all,After being burgled a few months ago, and having watches stolen, my insurance have finally paid out, and I am ready to replace/reshuffle.My previous line up was:Rolex green glass Milgauss - StolenRolex LVc (Hulk) - StolenBreitling Navitmer world, white dial on brown leather croc strapOmega Planet Ocean 8500 movement (larger size case)I will be keeping the omega, I like it, it's built like a tank, and disguises scratches to the bracelet well.I am going to trade in the Breitling, whilst I love the dial, it's just too big, and has only been worn a few times.I am keen on keeping a white dial in the collection, and am tempted with the IWC Portofino on a metal mesh strap. However, I am also tempted with a black dial hesalite speedy, which I would probably wear on a black rubber strap.I will be replacing the Milgauss. I am looking for good condition with box and papers, but pre owned prices in the UK seem very high in comparison to new AD price.I am back on a list for the Hulk, from th
