Is The Govberg 'OnTime' iPhone App The Start Of Something All Watch Collectors Need?
Govberg Jewelers, a company that owns several watch stores, iW magazine, a pre-owned watch business, a watch repair facility, and more has just released a new iPhone app called OnTime (previously My Watch Box). The new app builds upon the functionality of their existing apps that help you sell unwanted watches to them and also adds something new which, in my opinion, should be something that all watch collectors need. The Govberg My Watch Box (not going to change all the instances of "My Watch Box" but the name of the app just changed to Govberg OnTime, so please be aware of that) app features some useful tools that, while not unique, are well done. The app includes a watch news aggregator (similar to what Watchville is doing), a "watch box," a place to browse new and used watch inventory for sale, as well as a tool for helping you to sell pre-owned watches to Govberg. However, to keep the watch as precise as possible in practice, the IWC engineers decided to stop automatically after precisely 168 hours or seven days. As the rest of the gang, the pilot of Big Blue will come in a stainless steel case large enough 46.2 x 15.8 mm. In addition to the shows with an undeniable sense of presence, this brilliantly finished huge steel case also cache a soft extra iron safety cage which greatly increases the anti-magnetic properties of the watch. Of course, his iconic chunky winding diamond-shaped Crown is its usual place ready to dig in the back of your hand.

I heard something scary today
There is a previous thread about buying a Panerai without papers. This is a quasi follow up to that. I went to my Rolex/Panerai AD and she told me a story about a fake Panerai that an individual brought in for service. It made it through. They received estimates back on the repair from the panerai service center. It wasn't until the the go ahead was given for repair and watch was disassembled did the repair center realize it was not genuine. It was a story that I heard first hand from a woman I've done business with for years who isn't given to exaggeration. I guess now more than ever it's buyer beware.Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
I hate this forum!!
Actually I'm jk but it sure makes me want to spend money. I have the Red ETA BB that I'm currently selling and it's all because I have an opportunity to buy the Black version. Why the hell do I want to do that?? It's the same watch lol. Decisions, decisions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
