Chopard’s Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Watch Inspired by ’70s Racecars
Since 2002, Chopard has partnered with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, a racing event devoted to historical racecars, which takes place along the same route as the Monaco Grand Prix. As official timekeeper, Chopard this year launches a new chronograph wristwatch inspired by the design of sportscars from the 1970s.? The first Grand Prix de Monaco Historique was intended as a one-off event to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Monaco’s Grimaldi dynasty, but it generated so much enthusiasm that it is now held every two years. It is now considered one of the world's most important gatherings of historical racecars, and attracts the upper echelon of automobile collectors and enthusiasts, mostly from the United States, Germany, France and Italy. Each year’s event showcases more than 200 cars that have made their mark on their era, including models from Delage, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Porsche, Maserati and Ferrari, as well as some of the first Formula 1 cars buil

AP Ambassadors - in some cases... why???
Guys who own watches related to these ambassadors, please don't take this personally, the watches related to the ambassadors I am about to mention are some of AP's nicest, BUT I find some of AP's ambassador choices a bit... unusual.Rubens Barrichello - lovely bloke, long career, not much success, good back up driver to Schumacher.Jarno Trulli - again, nice long career in which he won f... all. Well, sorry, that's not fair, he won 1 GP.Both kinda mediocre...I just wonder why they didn't align themselves with more successful ambassadors - perhaps they don't have the budget that TAG/Omega/etc have?Thoughts?PS... and YES, they have both won more F1 races than me! :)
Just picked this one up
And it is a great all dress down watch and the brushed case and band makes it real military like as well as those stenciled numbers
thinking of getting an omega bullhead....anyone have one? do you like it?
its a either you like it or not piece....i think its pretty cool....wondered what my trf colleagues thought....appreciate it...thanks
