Photo Report: Inside The New Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique In NYC
Madison Avenue in New York is quickly becoming one of the best watch shopping streets in the world. Not only is there a stunning Vacheron Constantin Boutique on 64th street (open since 2011), and brand new boutiques from A. Lange & Söhne and Seiko, but as of this past Friday at 4 p.m., we now have an official Jaeger-LeCoultre store in NYC. And guess what? We were there first thing to photograph the whole damn thing. Click through for a photo report of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in NYC, now open for business. 2 OF 98 The selection of watches in the new JLC boutique is simply fantastic. Of course, you are going to see a wide selection of Reversos, including the awesome 1948 Reverso (introduced here). Well, they also have the grand complications in stoc
Ryder cup
Gotta love seeing captain davis love sporting his aqua terra Ryder.....and love the planet ocean on the first tee!Great to see omega doing some proper marketing.
A recent love for Omega brought me deeper
I use to just focus on the Speedy Pro but recently my focus changed and I sold nearly all my Speedy, keeping only the standard Moonwatch. With the funds, I bought a SMP300 James Bond and later will be collecting from the shop a PO2500 42mm. I earlier bought the latest PO8500 but sold nearly immediately as I cannot take that thickness. The PO2500 sits better on my 6.5in wrist. Now that I still have some funds remaining (yes! ), I am contemplating a discontinued NOS SMP300. I think the ref is 2255, blue wave dial and steel bezel on speedy bracelet. However it seems the 2255 are not so popular (I stand corrected) and more love is towards her black bezel black wave 2254. I don't think my dealer has a NOS 2254 but the offer of that BNIB unworn 2255 is hard to pass.To the 2255 owners here, what are your thoughts of this watch? It seems to be caught between dress and sport. Well, maybe more towards dress due to the full steel bezel.I think I am swimming too deep into the reign of the Omega di
My Omega project moving slow further
Now the movement is close to been stripped down the the last piece.
Do you have a 16030 8.6xx.xxx?
Do you happen to have a 16030 with the serial number 8695204? In an effort to get all the correct era specific items for my 16014, I ended up with the original warranty certificate for the watch mentioned above. I know it is a one in over a million shot but I thought it was worth the effort to try to reconnect these two items.
